This special Spacerocket features a rugged USA-made aluminum enclosure with 2 layers of real copper plating with clear coat. At the heart of this pedal is the 2014 anniversary Spacerocket circuit. Solid aluminum knobs and a vintage 60’s dimmable indicator sit atop the heavy duty engraved faceplate. The copper is not 100% pristine, with some light oxidation in areas, but still looks awesome as you can see.
Signed and numbered on the inside, with a 1-of-1 hand-hammered number tag on the enclosure.
The Spacerocket emits otherworldly fuzz tones. The hottest Fuzz setting is a blistering compressed fuzz bomb, with layers of sustaining fuzz. Harmonic octaves appear on sustain tails, making this a fuzz that begs you to learn its unique dynamic response and texture.
The Spacerocket is a discrete silicon transistor fuzz. It has a simple layout with three controls: Tone and Level, plus a 3-way toggle switch to control Fuzz gain. On top sits a reverse-engraved, hand painted vinyl faceplate with backlit indicator. Instrument attack is reflected by an indicator located in the rocket’s “flame.”
This fuzz shines when used for single string lead lines, with saturated multi-dimensional fuzz that blooms in between notes. With chords and multi-string playing, you can achieve much different effects – with intermodulated, metallic and noisy robot fuzz.
Handmade in Portland Oregon, the Spacerocket features an all discrete tone path, military-spec wiring and the very highest quality components. Everything is neatly held in a super-duty USA-cast aluminum enclosure, topped with a durable vinyl faceplate. The True Bypass switching is provided care-of a heavy-duty mechanical footswitch, for a long trouble-free life.
